ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2024-2026 Toyota Tacoma suspension systems are designed with maximum performance and the serious driver in mind. ICON engineers’ primary focus is to increase wheel travel and damping ability, which translates into outstanding vehicle control and ride quality both on- and off-road. This Stage 9 system includes vehicle-specific tuned 2.5 Series coilover shocks featuring CDXS equipped remote reservoirs and ICON-engineered coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” through the range of travel. Remote reservoirs greatly increase shock oil volume and heat dissipation surface area to resist overheating and cavitation under hard use, which can lead to damper fade. Stage 9 also features ICON's exclusive Compression Damping Dual Speed (CDXS) valves for precisely dialing in your suspension performance. CDXS controls fluid flow under compression, with independent adjustability of high speed and low speed compression force. 10 discreet detented settings for both low and high-speed adjustment knobs allow separate adjustments for handling response and overall aggressiveness. These coilovers are also height adjustable from 1.25-3” of front lift height over stock, allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. The combination of front differential drop brackets and ICON’s specifically designed coilover lengths maximizes the available front suspension travel and prevent CV bind. Additionally, polyurethane differential mounting bushings replace the soft OE bushings to help limit differential movement under load. The ICON K53299T Stage 9 suspension system is engineered for 2024-2026 Toyota Tacoma models, delivering increased wheel travel, improved damping, and enhanced vehicle control on and off the road. Designed for serious driving applications, this system combines vehicle-specific 2.5 Series front coilovers, remote reservoirs, ICON-engineered coil springs, and 2.5 Aluminum Series rear shocks for a balanced performance setup. Adjustable front coilovers provide 1.25 to 3 inches of lift over stock, allowing room for larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations while maintaining a controlled ride.
The CDXS-equipped shocks feature independent high-speed and low-speed compression adjustment, with 10 detented settings for each adjustment range. This allows drivers to fine-tune handling response and overall suspension aggressiveness for different terrain and driving conditions. Remote reservoirs increase oil capacity and cooling surface area to help resist heat buildup, cavitation, and damping fade during demanding use. Corrosion-resistant CAD-plated shock bodies, 7/8-inch shafts, FK rod-end bearings, and 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC-machined components provide long-term durability.
The system includes tubular upper control arms with ICON’s patented Delta Joint Pro, providing 90 degrees of total articulation, along with tubular rear lower links that improve rear-end articulation and allow pinion-angle adjustment. Front differential drop brackets improve the operating angle of CV joints and maximize available suspension travel on 4WD models, while polyurethane differential mounting bushings help limit differential movement under load. Application Note #206: The differential drop kit is not required for 2WD Toyota Tacoma models. Components may be purchased individually for 2WD installation, with 2WD-specific systems planned separately.
