ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2024-2026 Toyota Tacoma suspension systems are designed with maximum performance and the serious driver in mind. ICON engineers’ primary focus is to increase wheel travel and damping ability, which translates into outstanding vehicle control and ride quality both on- and off-road. This Stage 9 system includes vehicle-specific tuned 2.5 Series coilover shocks featuring CDXS equipped remote reservoirs and ICON-engineered coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” through the range of travel. Remote reservoirs greatly increase shock oil volume and heat dissipation surface area to resist overheating and cavitation under hard use, which can lead to damper fade. Stage 9 also features ICON's exclusive Compression Damping Dual Speed (CDXS) valves for precisely dialing in your suspension performance. CDXS controls fluid flow under compression, with independent adjustability of high speed and low speed compression force. 10 discreet detented settings for both low and high-speed adjustment knobs allow separate adjustments for handling response and overall aggressiveness. These coilovers are also height adjustable from 1.25-3” of front lift height over stock, allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. The combination of front differential drop brackets and ICON’s specifically designed coilover lengths maximizes the available front suspension travel and prevents CV bind. Polyurethane differential mounting bushings replace the soft OE bushings to help limit differential movement under load. The ICON K53299 Stage 9 Suspension System is engineered for 2024-2026 Toyota Tacoma models with a focus on increased wheel travel, improved damping, and confident vehicle control on and off the road. This complete suspension system includes ICON-tuned 2.5 Series front coilovers with CDXS-equipped remote reservoirs, ICON-engineered coil springs, 2.5 Aluminum Series rear remote reservoir shocks, billet aluminum upper control arms, billet rear lower links, and supporting components designed for demanding drivers. The adjustable coilovers provide 1.25 to 3 inches of front lift over stock, creating room for larger wheel and tire combinations while maintaining balanced suspension performance.
The ICON Compression Damping Dual Speed (CDXS) system provides independent high-speed and low-speed compression adjustment. Each adjustment range includes 10 detented settings, allowing you to tune handling response and overall suspension aggressiveness for changing terrain and driving conditions. Remote reservoirs increase shock oil capacity and cooling surface area, helping resist heat buildup, cavitation, and damper fade during extended off-road use. Corrosion-resistant CAD-plated shock bodies, 7/8-inch shafts, FK rod-end bearings, and 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum components support long-term durability with minimal deflection.
Billet aluminum upper control arms add strength, durability, and on-vehicle caster and camber adjustment for improved drivability. The patented Delta Joint Pro provides 90 degrees of total articulation, while billet rear lower links improve rear-end articulation and allow on-vehicle pinion-angle adjustment. For 4WD Tacoma models, the included front differential drop brackets improve the operating angle of the CV joints, maximize available front suspension travel, and help prevent CV bind. Polyurethane differential mounting bushings further limit differential movement under load. This kit is configured for 4WD applications; when installed on a 2WD Tacoma, the differential drop kit is not required and the remaining components may be purchased individually.
