ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2024-2025 Toyota Tacoma suspension systems are designed with maximum performance and the serious driver in mind. ICON engineers’ primary focus is to increase wheel travel and damping ability, which translates into outstanding vehicle control and ride quality both on- and off-road. This Stage 8 system includes vehicle-specific tuned 2.5 Series coilover shocks featuring CDCV equipped remote reservoirs and ICON-engineered coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” through the range of travel. Remote reservoirs greatly increase shock oil volume and heat dissipation surface area to resist overheating and cavitation under hard use, which can lead to damper fade. The included ICON CDC Valves are externally adjustable valves that restricts oil flow into the reservoir which creates 10 levels of compression damping force ranges. These coilovers are also height adjustable from 1.25-3” of front lift height over stock, allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. The combination of front differential drop brackets and ICON’s specifically designed coilover lengths maximizes the available front suspension travel and prevents CV bind. Polyurethane differential mounting bushings replace the soft OE bushings to help limit differential movement under load. The ICON K53298 Stage 8 suspension system is engineered for 2024-2025 Toyota Tacoma drivers who demand improved control, wheel travel, and ride quality on and off the road. The front coilovers provide adjustable lift from 1.25 to 3 inches over stock, allowing fitment of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations while maintaining controlled suspension geometry. Remote reservoirs increase shock oil capacity and cooling surface area to help resist heat-related damping fade during demanding driving. ICON CDC Valves provide 10 externally adjustable compression damping settings, allowing the suspension feel to be tuned from soft to firm for changing road, trail, and load conditions. Corrosion-resistant CAD-plated shock bodies, 7/8-inch shafts, FK rod end bearings, and 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC-machined components support long-term durability.
Billet aluminum upper control arms add strength and provide on-vehicle caster and camber adjustment for improved drivability. The patented Delta Joint Pro offers 90 degrees of total articulation, while the billet rear lower links improve rear-end articulation and allow on-vehicle pinion angle adjustment. For 4WD models, the included front differential drop brackets improve the maximum operating angle for CV joints and help maximize available front suspension travel. When installed on a 2WD Toyota Tacoma, front differential drop kit part number 55160 is not required; compatible components may be purchased individually with full system functionality.
