ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2024-2025 Toyota Tacoma suspension systems are designed with maximum performance and the serious driver in mind. ICON engineers’ primary focus is to increase wheel travel and damping ability, which translates into outstanding vehicle control and ride quality both on- and off-road. This Stage 7 system includes vehicle-specific tuned 2.5 Series coilover shocks featuring remote reservoirs and ICON-engineered coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” through the range of travel. Remote reservoirs greatly increase shock oil volume and heat dissipation surface area to resist overheating and cavitation under hard use, which can lead to damper fade. These coilovers are also height adjustable from 1.25-3” of front lift height over stock, allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. The combination of front differential drop brackets and ICON’s specifically designed coilover lengths maximizes the available front suspension travel and prevents CV bind. Polyurethane differential mounting bushings replace the soft OE bushings to help limit differential movement under load. The included ICON billet aluminum upper control arm kit is designed to improve the overall performance of the new 2024-2025 Toyota Tacoma with corrected front-end geometry, increased on-vehicle camber and caster adjustment, and improved suspension component clearance. Replacing the OE ball joint with the all-new, serviceable, and rebuildable ICON Delta Joint PRO allows for full bump and droop travel of the front suspension while eliminating bind. The ICON K53297 Stage 7 suspension system is engineered for serious 2024-2025 Toyota Tacoma drivers who demand improved control, wheel travel, and ride quality on and off the road. Designed for 4WD models, this complete suspension package combines vehicle-specific 2.5 Series front coilovers, remote reservoir technology, ICON-engineered coil springs, rear shocks, billet aluminum upper control arms, rear lower links, and supporting differential components for a balanced performance upgrade. The adjustable front coilovers provide 1.25 to 3 inches of lift over stock, helping accommodate larger and more aggressive wheel and tire combinations while maintaining a controlled, well-matched suspension system.
The remote reservoirs increase shock oil capacity and cooling surface area to help resist overheating, cavitation, and damping fade during demanding driving conditions. Corrosion-resistant CAD-plated shock bodies, 7/8-inch shafts, FK rod-end bearings, and 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum components provide durability and consistent operation. The included billet aluminum upper control arms correct front-end geometry, increase on-vehicle caster and camber adjustment, and improve clearance throughout suspension travel. Each arm uses ICON’s patented Delta Joint PRO, a serviceable and rebuildable joint designed to provide 90 degrees of total articulation while reducing bind at full bump and droop.
The front differential drop brackets and polyurethane differential bushings help optimize CV joint operating angles, limit differential movement under load, and maximize available front suspension travel on 4WD Tacomas. Billet rear lower links improve rear articulation and allow on-vehicle pinion angle adjustment, while the 2.5 Aluminum Series remote reservoir rear shocks provide a balanced tune with the front coilovers. Application Note 206: This system is configured for 4WD models. When installed on a 2WD Toyota Tacoma, front differential drop kit part number 55160 is not required; other components may be purchased individually for full system functionality.
