ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2024-2025 Toyota Tacoma suspension systems are designed with maximum performance and the serious driver in mind. ICON engineers’ primary focus is to increase wheel travel and damping ability, which translates into outstanding vehicle control and ride quality both on- and off-road. This Stage 6 system includes vehicle-specific tuned 2.5 Series coilover shocks featuring CDEV equipped remote reservoirs and ICON-engineered coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” through the range of travel. Remote reservoirs greatly increase shock oil volume and heat dissipation surface area to resist overheating and cavitation under hard use, which can lead to damper fade. Focus on driving and let ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) read the terrain and make near-instant adjustments via the Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) at each individual shock. Control the system wirelessly through the IIC app on your phone and once configured the system functions without driver input. These coilovers are also height adjustable from 1.25-3” of front lift height over stock, allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. The combination of front differential drop brackets and ICON’s specifically designed coilover lengths maximizes the available front suspension travel and prevents CV bind. Polyurethane differential mounting bushings replace the soft OE bushings to help limit differential movement under load. The system features ICON 2.5 Series front coilover shocks with vehicle-specific tuning, remote reservoirs, CDEV technology, and ICON-engineered coil springs. Remote reservoirs increase oil volume and cooling capacity to help resist overheating and damping fade during demanding use. ICON Intelligent Control uses onboard sensors to monitor vehicle movement and G-forces, while the ICON Intelligent Control app allows wireless configuration of compression damping settings. Once configured, the system can make near-instantaneous adjustments through the Compression Damping Electronic Valve at each shock without requiring constant driver input.
For 4WD Tacoma models, the included front differential drop brackets improve CV joint operating angles, maximize available suspension travel, and help prevent CV bind. Polyurethane differential mounting bushings reduce differential movement under load. Billet aluminum upper control arms add strength and durability while providing on-vehicle caster and camber adjustment for improved drivability. Their patented Delta Joint Pro delivers 90 degrees of total articulation, and FK rod end bearings help minimize deflection for consistent suspension performance. The rear suspension uses 2.5 Aluminum Series remote reservoir shocks with 7/8-inch shafts for a balanced match with the front coilovers. This kit is configured for 4WD applications; on 2WD models, differential drop kit part number 55160 is not required, and the remaining components may be purchased individually for full system functionality.
