ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2024-2025 Toyota Tacoma suspension systems are designed with maximum performance and the serious driver in mind. ICON engineers’ primary focus is to increase wheel travel and damping ability, which translates into outstanding vehicle control and ride quality both on- and off-road. This Stage 5 system includes vehicle-specific tuned 2.5 Series coilover shocks featuring CDCV equipped remote reservoirs and ICON-engineered coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” through the range of travel. Remote reservoirs greatly increase shock oil volume and heat dissipation surface area to resist overheating and cavitation under hard use, which can lead to damper fade. The included ICON CDC Valves are externally adjustable valves that restricts oil flow into the reservoir which creates 10 levels of compression damping force ranges. These coilovers are also height adjustable from 1.25-3” of front lift height over stock, allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. The combination of front differential drop brackets and ICON’s specifically designed coilover lengths maximizes the available front suspension travel and prevents CV bind. Polyurethane differential mounting bushings replace the soft OE bushings to help limit differential movement under load. The ICON K53295 Stage 5 Suspension System is engineered for 2024-2025 Toyota Tacoma models and designed to deliver improved wheel travel, damping performance, and vehicle control on and off the road. This comprehensive system combines height-adjustable 2.5 Series front coilovers, remote reservoir technology, ICON-engineered coil springs, billet aluminum upper control arms, and 2.5 Aluminum Series rear shocks for a balanced suspension setup. The front coilovers provide 1.25-3 inches of lift over stock, supporting larger and more aggressive wheel and tire combinations while maintaining a controlled, responsive ride.
The front coilovers and rear shocks feature ICON CDC Valves with 10 externally adjustable compression damping settings, allowing drivers to fine-tune ride characteristics from softer to firmer performance. Remote reservoirs increase shock oil capacity and heat dissipation to help resist overheating, cavitation, and damper fade during demanding driving. Corrosion-resistant CAD-plated shock bodies, 7/8-inch shafts, FK rod end bearings, and 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC-machined components provide durability for serious off-road use.
Billet aluminum upper control arms increase strength and provide on-vehicle caster and camber adjustment for improved drivability. Each control arm uses the patented Delta Joint Pro, offering 90 degrees of total articulation. For 4WD Tacoma models, the included front differential drop brackets improve the operating angle of the CV joints and help maximize available suspension travel, while polyurethane differential mounting bushings help limit differential movement under load. Application Note #206: This configuration is intended for 4WD models. For 2WD applications, the front differential drop kit is not required, and the remaining components may be purchased individually for full system functionality. Professional installation and alignment are recommended after installation.
