ICON K53155 RXT Stage 1 Rear Suspension System for 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra

Through an accelerated testing process dubbed the “ICON1K” R&D program, ICON has spent over a year pushing the Tundra to off-road extremes to identify limiting factors in OE components and further extrapolate performance out of this vehicle. In a push to provide unparalleled ride quality and vehicle dynamics for everything from high-speed desert running to off the grid expedition, the RXT Rear Suspension System was born. The RXT Rear Suspension System is a combination of an all-new ICON multi-rate leaf spring, a hydraulic rear bump stop kit, and three RXT-specific 2.5 Aluminum Series rear shock options. ICON’s hydraulic rear bump stop kit adds position-sensitive bottom-out resistance and is tuned specifically for the Toyota Tundra. The 2.5-inch travel bump stops help reduce rear-end kick and improve suspension control during harsh compression events. A heavy-duty 1.25-inch CNC-machined nitro steel shaft, corrosion-resistant CAD-plated body, replaceable striker pad, and double-sealed high-pressure Schrader valve support long-term serviceability. The bump stops operate from 50 to 250 PSI and bolt directly into the factory bump stop locations.
The included RXT rear shocks use 10-inch aluminum reservoirs to provide increased oil and nitrogen volume for consistent damping as temperatures rise. Their side-mounted lower eyelets help maximize suspension travel while retaining the factory mounting location, and the fully rebuildable, revalveable design supports future tuning and servicing. The system is recommended for use with 35-inch by 12.50-inch tires; larger tires may require fender trimming or additional vehicle modifications.
