ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2010-2024 Toyota 4Runner and 2010-2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser suspension systems are designed with maximum performance and the serious driver in mind. ICON engineers’ primary focus is to increase wheel travel and damping ability, which translates into outstanding vehicle control and ride quality both on and off-road. This Stage 7 system includes vehicle-specific tuned, extended travel 2.5” coilover shocks featuring CDCV equipped remote reservoirs for exceptional cooling properties and ICON-engineered coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” through the range of travel. These coilovers are also height adjustable for 0-3.5” of front lift over stock, allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. The ICON CDC Valve is an externally adjustable valve that restricts oil flow into the reservoir which creates 10 levels of compression damping force ranges. Tubular Delta Joint upper control arms not only add strength and durability, but help retain factory alignment specs, increasing caster over stock and allow proper wheel alignment at the lift height this system provides. ICON's tubular steel upper and lower links are much stronger than the OE units, feature a low maintenance multi-durometer bushing, and can be adjusted for optimum pinion angle. ICON rear coil springs deliver on-road comfort and superior off-road performance with 2” of rear lift height over stock for a level stance front to rear. An adjustable rear track bar is included to provide proper rear axle alignment, improve articulation, and ensure fitment on KDSS equipped 4Runners. The 2.5 Aluminum Series CDCV remote reservoir rear shocks’ larger diameter offers outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street with adjustable compression damping. The ICON K53067T Stage 7 Suspension System is engineered for drivers who demand improved control, comfort, and off-road capability from their 2010-2024 Toyota 4Runner or 2010-2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser. This complete suspension package combines vehicle-specific tuned shocks, extended-travel coilovers, ICON coil springs, tubular upper and lower links, Delta Joint upper control arms, and an adjustable rear track bar. The system is compatible with KDSS-equipped 4Runners and is designed to increase wheel travel, improve suspension geometry, and provide a controlled ride on both pavement and demanding terrain.
The front extended-travel 2.5-inch coilover shocks feature CDCV-equipped remote reservoirs for improved cooling and externally adjustable compression damping. The adjustable coilovers provide 0 to 3.5 inches of front lift over stock, allowing fitment of larger wheel and tire combinations while maintaining a balanced suspension setup. ICON-engineered coil springs enhance vehicle feel throughout the range of travel, while the tubular upper control arms improve strength, durability, caster, and alignment capability at the lifted ride height. Rear ICON coil springs provide approximately 2 inches of lift for a level front-to-rear stance, and the adjustable track bar helps maintain proper axle alignment and articulation.
The system includes 2.5 Aluminum Series CDCV remote reservoir rear shocks with corrosion-resistant, impact-extruded aluminum bodies for consistent performance and long-term durability. Tubular rear links offer increased strength, improved suspension geometry, and adjustable pinion angle control, while FK rod-end bearings help reduce deflection and extend service life. CNC-machined 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum components and CAD-plated coilover bodies further support reliable operation in demanding conditions. The bolt-on design requires no cutting or welding, although certain applications may require trimming for front reservoir bracket clearance. Front sway bar relocation brackets are not used on KDSS-equipped vehicles.
