ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2010-2024 Toyota 4Runner and 2010-2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser suspension systems are designed with maximum performance and the serious driver in mind. ICON engineers’ primary focus is to increase wheel travel and damping ability, which translates into outstanding vehicle control and ride quality both on and off-road. This Stage 6 system includes vehicle-specific tuned, extended travel 2.5” coilover shocks featuring remote reservoirs for exceptional cooling properties and ICON-engineered coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” through the range of travel. These coilovers are also height adjustable for 0-3.5” of front lift over stock, allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. Tubular Delta Joint upper control arms not only add strength and durability, but help retain factory alignment specs, increasing caster over stock and allow proper wheel alignment at the lift height this system provides. ICON's tubular steel upper and lower links are much stronger than the OE units, feature a low maintenance multi-durometer bushing, and can be adjusted for optimum pinion angle. ICON rear coil springs deliver on-road comfort and superior off-road performance with 2” of rear lift height over stock for a level stance front to rear. An adjustable rear track bar is included to provide proper rear axle alignment, improve articulation, and ensure fitment on KDSS equipped 4Runners. The 2.5 Aluminum Series rear shocks’ larger diameter offers outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street. Remote reservoirs ensure optimum performance by increasing the duration of consistent damping, keeping the shocks at a cooler operating temperature during heavy use. They also feature a unique internal Bump Zone that creates an additional 20% of damping force to help better control hard bottom outs. The ICON K53066T Stage 6 Suspension System is engineered for drivers who demand improved control, ride quality, and off-road capability from their 2010-2024 Toyota 4Runner or 2010-2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser. This complete suspension package combines vehicle-specific tuned shocks, extended-travel coilovers, ICON-engineered coil springs, tubular control arms, rear links, and an adjustable rear track bar to increase wheel travel and improve suspension performance on and off the road. The bolt-on design requires no cutting or welding for installation.
The front extended-travel 2.5-inch remote reservoir coilovers feature adjustable ride height from 0 to 3.5 inches over stock, supporting larger wheel and tire combinations while maintaining controlled suspension movement. ICON tubular Delta Joint upper control arms improve strength, durability, caster, and alignment geometry at the lifted height. Corrosion-resistant CAD-plated shock bodies, 7/8-inch shafts, FK rod-end bearings, and CNC-machined 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum components provide dependable performance under demanding conditions.
At the rear, ICON coil springs provide approximately 2 inches of lift for a balanced stance, improved articulation, and confident off-road handling without sacrificing street comfort. Tubular upper and lower links add strength, improve suspension geometry, and allow pinion angle adjustment. The adjustable rear track bar helps maintain proper axle placement and is compatible with KDSS-equipped 4Runners. ICON 2.5 Aluminum Series rear shocks use remote reservoirs for improved heat control and consistent damping, while the internal Bump Zone adds damping force to help manage hard bottom-outs.
This ICON suspension system is compatible with KDSS-equipped vehicles. Front sway bar relocation brackets are not used on KDSS-equipped 4Runners, and certain applications may require trimming for front reservoir bracket clearance.
