ICON Omega Series Bypass shocks are designed and built to give your vehicle outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street. These shocks are configured specifically for each application in length but allow the user to customize the ride characteristics to their liking through adjustment of the bypass valves. Like all ICON shock absorbers, Omega Series shocks are 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable. ICON’s use of a 6061 billet aluminum manifold a few inches below the top cap of the shock creates an internal “Bump Zone” that when used, creates a significant increase in damping force. This additional force helps prevent harsh bottom outs and controls the suspension when compressing at high velocity. The ICON Bypass Valve is an externally adjustable valve that restricts oil flow through the bypass tube and provides 28 settings of compression and rebound adjustment with no tools required. This RXT rear shock features a side-mount eyelet making it shorter in collapsed length, longer at extension, and still fit in the factory mounting location, allowing for additional wheel travel when paired with ICON Multi-Rate Leaf Springs. This ICON 59926P rear shock pair is specifically configured for compatible 2005 and newer Toyota Tacoma applications, with vehicle-specific valving and a one-piece digressive piston designed to improve ride quality, traction, and suspension control. Each shock features a one-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinder, a 7/8-inch induction-hardened chrome-plated shaft, PTFE-lined spherical bearings, and application-specific mounting hardware. CNC-machined 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum components provide strength and corrosion resistance, and replaceable bypass tubes help simplify service if damage occurs. Like other ICON Omega Series shocks, the assembly is fully rebuildable and revalveable for long-term maintenance and suspension tuning. Application Note #244: ICON Multi-Rate Leaf Springs, Part 158505, are required for installation. This pair is designed for select 2005 through 2017 Toyota Tacoma models; verify vehicle fitment before ordering.
