ICON 27727EP 2.5 Aluminum Series Rear Shocks with CDEV for 2020+ Jeep Gladiator JT with 1.5-Inch Lift

Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) is an electronically controlled valve that meters the flow of oil to regulate the amount of damping force that is created by the shock when compressed. This infinitely variable valve can react in less than 40ms and has the ability to make extremely precise adjustments for varying terrain. CDEV’s hydraulic circuits are also custom tailored per application to create the highest resolution and dynamic range allowable for each specific vehicle. Powered by ICON Intelligent Control and proprietary ICON mobile app, the system uses information from the onboard G-force sensor and Gyroscope to perform calculations based on algorithms and user-defined settings to predict terrain and adjust shock settings via the CDEV accordingly. ICON 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks with CDEV are designed and built to give your vehicle outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street. These shocks are configured for each application in both length and damping tune. TECH NOTE: Rear shocks require sway bar relocation kit (Part #22062) or sway bar link kit (Part #22070) to be used in conjunction with JT coil spacer (Part #22065) or JT coil spring (Part #22066)

Each shock is configured specifically for the Gladiator application with vehicle-specific length and damping calibration. The one-piece digressive piston delivers consistent performance both on and off-road, while the internal Bump Zone increases damping by 20 percent near full compression for added control. A nitrogen-charged monotube design with piggyback reservoir helps manage heat and reduce fade during extended driving, while premium 5WT shock oil maintains consistent damping across a broad temperature range.
The one-piece, hard-anodized, impact-extruded aluminum cylinders offer corrosion resistance and a durable finish. Additional construction features include 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC-machined components, a 7/8-inch induction-hardened chrome-plated shock shaft, PTFE-lined spherical bearings, application-specific mounting hardware, and protective shin guards. The shocks are fully revalveable and rebuildable for long-term serviceability and performance tuning.
Rear shocks require either the ICON sway bar relocation kit, Part 22062, or sway bar link kit, Part 22070, when used with the JT coil spacer, Part 22065, or JT coil spring, Part 22066. The ICON 27727EP is sold as a pair and is engineered for 2020 and newer Jeep Gladiator JT applications.
