FOX Factory Race Series 3.2 Internal Bypass shocks for the LC250, GX550, and 4Runner chassis deliver velocity and position-sensitive damping technology, Dual Speed Compression Evolution (DSC EVO) adjustment, and high-speed ready performance in a bolt-on kit. Patented Internal Bypass technology allows for multiple zones of damping control. The result is a comfortable, confident ride with increased damping force through rough terrain. Internal bypass shocks produce more force progressively to control hard bottom-outs, prevent harsh top-outs, and provide an initial catch for landing. Shock fluid bypasses the main piston through bleed holes in the ride zone. As the shock extends past the ride zone in rebound or compression, the bleed holes terminate, forcing fluid through the main piston. Type II anodization prevents corrosion and wear of the 3.2-inch diameter aluminum bodies. Finned reservoirs increase oil capacity, house an IFP, and feature a DSC EVO adjuster. DSC EVO utilizes Variable Valve Control (VVC) on the high-speed circuit. VVC doesn't add preload to the shim stack to adjust high-speed damping. The result is more comfort, independent high and low-speed circuits, and increased capacity for big hits. Add clicks of high-speed compression without sacrificing small-bump sensitivity. Patented FOX Internal Bypass technology provides position- and velocity-sensitive damping through multiple zones of control. In the ride zone, fluid bypasses the main piston through calibrated bleed holes for improved small-bump comfort and ride quality. As the shock moves farther into compression or rebound, the bypass zones close and force fluid through the piston, progressively increasing damping to help control hard bottom-outs, reduce harsh top-outs, and provide additional support during aggressive driving and landings.
The finned remote reservoir increases fluid capacity and incorporates the Dual Speed Compression Evolution (DSC EVO) adjuster. Its Variable Valve Control high-speed circuit allows high-speed compression adjustment without adding preload to the shim stack, helping preserve small-bump sensitivity while adding support for larger impacts. The 3.2-inch impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum body features Type II anodization for improved resistance to corrosion and wear, while the hard-chromed steel shaft and redundant sealing pack provide durable performance in demanding conditions.
