Rounding out 2020, we developed the new Camburg X-Joint. It’s an eXtreme performance, all-weather, all conditions, high angle ball-joint for our Camburg BJ performance upper control arms. These are much higher quality, considerably stronger and have an improved boot design that allows for higher angle use, better greasing and increased longevity. With higher strength heat-treated materials and an improved design, we were able to vastly improve upon what was available on the market. These are fully sealed and perfect for extreme conditions, so dirt, sand, rain, mud and snow are no match for them. The dual lip seal design on the boot insures the outside elements don’t make their way in and contaminate the grease and joint. The grease zerk fitting allows you to grease them on the truck without having to remove the boot. Our Camburg X-Joint is designed specifically for our ball-joint upper arms for optimum fit and maximum wheel travel. They do not retro-fit into uniball arms and are not designed for the stock sheet metal arms. We sell them individually or discounted as a set. These fit Camburg P/N 310078 upper control arms and interchange with the Moog BJ used prior. We recommend greasing the X-Joints 2-3 times per year or every 5-8k miles depending on use with a high temp. lithium complex #2 synthetic grease. Upgrade your Camburg performance upper control arms with the Camburg CAM-950152-SET X-Joint pair. Developed for high-angle suspension applications, these replacement OE-style ball joints deliver improved strength, sealing, serviceability, and durability compared with the previous Moog ball-joint design. They are specifically engineered for Camburg ball-joint upper control arms and provide an optimized fit for demanding off-road use.

Each X-Joint uses high-strength, heat-treated materials and an improved boot design to support increased wheel travel and higher operating angles. The fully sealed construction helps protect the joint and internal grease from dirt, sand, rain, mud, and snow. A dual-lip boot seal provides an additional barrier against outside contamination, while the integrated grease fitting allows service without removing the boot. For best performance, Camburg recommends greasing the X-Joints two to three times per year or every 5,000 to 8,000 miles, depending on driving conditions and usage. Use a high-temperature lithium complex number 2 synthetic grease, with more frequent lubrication recommended for wet, muddy, snowy, or heavily used off-road environments.

This replacement pair fits Camburg part number 310078 upper control arms and interchanges with the Moog ball joints previously used in those applications. The X-Joints are not designed to retrofit into Camburg uniball arms or factory sheet-metal upper control arms.
